The Cincinnati Union Terminal partnered with the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center to provide the opportunity to share the history of Auschwitz and its survivors at this exhibition. The exhibition portrays the complex reality of the notorious camp while sharing firsthand stories from those who survived and those who perished. There are more than 500 original artifacts in the exhibition from the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Poland, as well as more than 20 institutions and museums all over the world. When people enter the exhibition, they will encounter one of history’s darkest periods, but they will also be part of an ongoing remembrance and will leave bearing the weight of society’s responsibility to combat hate and evil everywhere. Details regarding the exhibition visit: • The Union Terminal is ADA compliant (Wheelchairs are available to rent the day of the event for $7 and scooters for $27). • The exhibition is on one level in the basement accessed by stairs and elevator. • Allow 2 – 2 ½ hours for your visit. The exhibition closes at 5 p.m. • An audio guide is available with the tour. • No outside food or drink is allowed, but vending machines are available for drinks and snacks. • No bags are allowed. Lockers are available to store your bags.
