Creating a vibrant relevant Judaism for today's and tomorrow's generation of Jews
Temple Beth Or, a Reform Congregation in south Dayton, was founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated Jewish families who wanted their children to have a Jewish education and a place to worship as a congregation. Almost a quarter century later, Temple Beth Or is a full-service congregation large enough to offer a variety of educational and community programs, yet small enough to maintain a feeling of intimacy.
Temple Beth Or is a home of Jewish Tradition, Education, Celebration and Community. We offer learning and worship opportunities for everyone, from our exceptional preschool and dynamic religious school to our extensive array of stimulating adult education programs. Innovative worship and glorious music make our services and festivals inspiring, inclusive and invigorating.
Share the warmth and joy. Temple Beth Or is truly a family affair—a caring, supportive, and inclusive environment. We invite you to visit our congregation and meet Rabbi Judy Chessin, Education Director Rabbi David Burstein, and Administrator Leslie Beers. We look forward to welcoming you into our temple family.

Paving Our Path ~ Today... and for Generations
There is still time to leave your or a loved one's lasting footprint on the new paver walkway at Temple. We are excited to announce plans to install a gorgeous new paver walkway along the edge of the outdoor sanctuary stretching around to the new sukkah. Plans are underway to break ground on this project near the end of the summer with hopes for the "big reveal" in the fall. But of course, we can't do it without you! This is your chance to inscribe a beautifully lasered message of your choice, an enduring signature at your home-away-from-home, "Today... and for Generations." Buy pavers to commemorate a bar or bat mitzvah, confirmation, graduation, conversion, wedding, special birthday or anniversary, baby, in memory of a loved one, or just because! The price for this inaugural installation is $100 per 4x8 paver and $200 per 8x8 paver. To lock in this price and get in on the initial installation, please fill out the form, or pick one up from the Temple and send with your payment by July 1 to Jane & Alex Pearl, 10143 Chedworth Dr., Dayton 45458. Questions, contact the Pearls at 885-9531 or janepearl0@gmail.com
