Be The Light!
It's not too late to help religious school student Adam Coy with his Bar Mitzvah Project. Here's a letter from Adam:
Dear Temple Beth Or Congregation,
My name is Adam Coy and my Bar Mitzvah project involves Standing Together. Standing Together is an organization that sends stuff to the soldiers on the Israeli border. It began by people sending pizzas but now, it includes, coffee, candy etc. I am collecting post cards with words of encouragement to mail to Standing Together. They will distribute them to the Israeli soldiers guarding the border. I will have these postcards at the High Holiday services. Please take a moment to write a few words of encouragement and I will mail them to Standing Together.
Thank You for Your Time,
Adam Coy
You may have seen Adam in the hallways during High Holy Days, promoting his project. If you're interested in helping Adam, drop your postcards or letters off in the religious school office. Thank you!
Thanks to the Michaelson Family for donating a bubble gum machine to benefit TBO's Building Fund.
