September 9, 2007
A very successful Sunday was had by all our classes. As I wandered, I witnessed students, parents and teachers engaged in getting to know each other and I felt a sense of great excitement in the classrooms.
We have lots of new and returning students. To reiterate what I said at our opening meeting, this is your school. Our doors are always open.
As we rapidly approach our high holy days, please remember that there is an alternative family service on Rosh Hashanah morning at 10:00 am which is appropriate and fun both children and adults.
My prayer for all of us as we enter the High Holy Days is that we continue to grow and care for each other as a school community and a temple community.
Be well,
Rabbi David Burstein
