Be aware regarding the flu!
Many people are concerned about the flu as children head back to school this fall. TBO Religious School staff will have hand sanitizer in their classrooms, and all classrooms will be sanitized weekly. Staff will also model good health hygiene/etiquette, encouraging students to wash hands, cover coughs and sneezes, and not to share personal items. You can help us keep TBO healthy by following these guidelines:
- Please keep your child home if they are sick and have a fever over 100 degrees.
- Please keep your children home for 24 hours AFTER their temperature returns to below 100 degrees without fever reducing drugs.
- Please encourage healthy practices with your children, such as handwashing, covering when coughing or sneezing and not sharing personal items.
- Know the signs and symptoms of the flu. Symptoms of the flu include fever (100 degrees or greater), cough, sore throat, a runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, and feeling very tired. Some people may also vomit or have diarrhea.
