Honoring Marcia and Tom Rajkovich

Marsha and Stephen Goldberg introduce Tom and Marcia Rajkovich.

Tonight we are honoring Marcia and Tom Rajkovich for their many years of dedication to Temple Beth Or and for their sustained involvement and generosity to our congregation over the last 18 years.

To think that about 20 years ago someone said, "Let's build our own Temple South of town." With little experience a group of people with desire and talent spent thousands of hours of their time in hundreds of meetings to discuss a home for we Jews of South Dayton. .......Tonight I am thankful for all of our hard working friends and neighbors in South Dayton especially our Rabbi and Cantor who were the glue that kept it all together.

Tom and I are deeply grateful for this recognition. We are so blessed to be part of this community. I am grateful to everyone who has accompanied us on our journey at Temple Beth Or. Thank you for your encouragement and support.
I would specifically like to thank Rabbi Judy Chessin for her unwavering vision and leadership; Cantor Joyce Dumtschin for her spiritual nourishment and the Gala Committee ...... Here's to another 18 years at Temple Beth Or!
